Hay Moon Park & Pool

Hay Moon Park is Alamar’s first Community Park and is located within a short walk of every home. Here, neighbors can socialize while watching their children swing, play and connect with new friends. Hay Moon Park includes the community’s iconic art piece, Wolf Moon, by renowned artist John Nelson. The howling coyote serves as a visual representation of the community’s desert heritage. Adjacent to the Wolf Moon sculpture are a large grassy sports field to the east and a remarkable canopy-covered play structure to the west. Woven throughout Hay Moon Park is the beautiful agrarian work of Arizona artist, Mary Shindell.

Hay Moon Pool is the signature feature of the park and offers plenty of room for playing, lounging and splashing around with stunning views of the Sierra Estrella Mountains. Hay Moon Pool is exclusively for residents and has controlled access. The pool complex includes restrooms and an outdoor “kitchen” area with a barbecue grill for poolside picnics.

Whether it’s lawn games, community events or taking the kids over to play in the pool or on the playground, Hay Moon Park will be a beloved neighborhood gathering place for years to come.
