At the core of Alamar is Lakin Prep Academy, a new elementary school that offers an individualized and accelerated curriculum, innovative and unique for this region. This academy will cater to students from grades K-5 initially, with plans to expand to grades 6-8 based on demand. Leading the academy’s educational journey is distinguished and award-winning principal, Dr. Nicole Durazo. Each school in the district offers programs in regular education, special education and early childhood. There are also career, technical and alternative high school services available.
